VEECs (Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates) Explained

The VEECs (Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates) is a critical resource for individuals, businesses, and Accredited Providers looking to realize energy-saving opportunities and capture them through the Australian Government’s Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) program.

What is a VEECs?

Who can create VEECs?

VEECs can only be created by entities accredited by us under the VEU program (known as accredited persons).

The VEEC scheme is an incentive for businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and upgrade the electricity grid to more renewable power.

  • VEEC Generation: The calculator determines the number of VEECs generated by the project based on the energy savings and return methodology prescribed by the program.
