ComAp MainsPro: Mains Protection Relay Features

ComAp MainsPro offers enhanced protection for your energy systems. Additionally, it is suitable for installations including renewable energy sources. With this combination of features, usability, and reliability, it becomes a first choice while managing modern energy.

Reliable protection for modern energy systems

MainsPro provides accurate monitoring with robust protection features:
Accurate Measurements and Protection
Three-Phase Voltage Measurement
The device measures voltage across three phases with high accuracy. It ensures that systems that produce poor power are disconnected rapidly.
Protection for PV and Generators
The ComAp MainsPro protects the grid from islanding events. This anti-islanding functionality prevents power being fed on to the grid in the case of a blackout, which can cause dangerous voltages for personel working on the network.
Advanced Protection Features
Frequency and Voltage Monitoring
The MainsPro measures voltage and frequency and comes with advanced protection such as ROCOF (Rate of Change Of Frequency) and vector shift.
User-Friendly Design
Easy Setup
An intuitive interface permits easy setup and configuration. This drastically reduces the time taken for installation and, in turn, the related complexity.
Detachable Connectors
Detachable connectors make wiring and maintenance easy.
Easy Installation
DIN Rail Mounting
MainsPro easily mounts on standard DIN rails. This fits in well with existing control panels.
Mechanical Lock
The relay has a mechanical lock to lock the settings and avoid unauthorized changes.
Enhanced Troubleshooting
Event History
This relay maintains an event history in detail. This is helpful for troubleshooting and handling incidents.
Breaker Failure Protection
It has an embedded protection feature, which promptly detects and provides a response to failures.
Reliability is more important than ever in today’s conditions of modern renewable energy sources increasing in the energy system. The ComAp MainsPro mains protection relay can be perfectly applied in parallel-to-mains applications, ensuring safety both for your power distribution network and your generators. Whether you are working with photovoltaic plants, gen-sets, cogeneration units, or microturbines, MainsPro provides the essential protection.
